Our Children’s Programming team has a great week filled with crafts, activities, swimming and our annual Children’s Parade.
Childcare at Wic-Can Fest is a co-operative venture. If you want your child to take part in any or all of the programming we offer, you must make provisions to work a two-hour shift in the Children’s Programming area. This may be counted as your Festival volunteer shift, although we encourage you to also volunteer elsewhere if you are able.
All children are welcome with the exception of babes in arms
- we are not equipped to provide for the needs of infants.
Children should wear a hat at all times, please provide one for your child. Please also ensure they have sunscreen, messy clothes for morning crafts,
a towel and swim suit and other appropriate playwear.
You will be required to sign your children in and out of childcare. No child under the age of 12 without adult supervision is allowed near any water on the grounds.
You will be required to sign your children in and out of childcare. You are required to be on time to pick up your child or children when Children's Programming closes.
Programming hours are:
9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Afternoons will be for swimming or nature walks
PLEASE NOTE, this is a co-op childcare not a baby-sitting service. Pick up your children on time, feed them and spend some time with them at one of the many children friendly spots on the site.
